Which grade of wiping rag do I need?
The best type of cleaning rag depends on the task at hand. For general cleaning and dusting, Lint-Free Cotton sheeting rags are ideal due to their lightweight and lint-free nature, making them perfect for glass and surface cleaning without leaving residue . For heavier-duty jobs or absorbing larger amounts of liquid, white terry towel rags are highly effective. Their thick, absorbent material makes them suitable for mopping up spills and cleaning greasy surfaces.
If you’re dealing with oils or tougher grime, consider coloured towelling rags, as their durability and colour can help mask stains. Mixed white rags and Mixed Coloured rags are versatile and great for general cleaning in environments where appearance doesn’t matter as much, such as workshops or garages. Their blend of materials makes them economical yet practical for various tasks .
Where do your raw textiles come from before they’re made into rags?
All of our raw textiles are sourced from within the UK and would have otherwise ended up in landfill. By upcycling these materials into cleaning rags, we give them new life, contributing to sustainability. Every batch of material arrives at our facility via an industrial laundry, where it is professionally laundered to the highest standards. This means that while the textiles aren’t new, they are in perfect condition for cleaning. Each rag is graded based on its specific properties, such as absorbency, linting, and abrasiveness, ensuring that it meets the requirements for different cleaning tasks. This process ensures high-quality, eco-friendly cleaning solutions while reducing waste.
Are the rags reusable?
Yes, all of our rags are reusable and washable. All of our rags are designed to be durable and maintain their effectiveness over time. After use, they can be easily washed and reused, ensuring their longevity and reducing waste. By reusing these high-quality materials, we also contribute to sustainability by keeping textiles out of landfills.
Is there a minimum order when purchasing from you? No, there is no minimum required to order from us. You’re able to order a single bag right up to bales by the tonne.
Can I Purchase in bulk?
Absolutely! Each product page has a section detailing the quantity breaks for bulk purchases, and can be applied to the basket by adding the quantity required and clicking ‘Grab this Deal’.
